JEZREEL SUYOM
Jez graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University and a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. Over the years, he has gathered valuable clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and has worked alongside excellent therapists and professionals, which has helped refine him into a compassionate and well-rounded individual in the field of healthcare. As a clinician, Jez enjoys treating orthopedic post-operative and sports-related injuries.
He has taken courses to support his clinical interests in cervicothoracic and lumbopelvic management, shoulder rehabilitation, pain biopsychosocial management, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Additionally, he has advanced his training by completing the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course at McMaster University, as well as courses in vestibular rehabilitation and Neurokinetic Therapy.
Jez has a deep passion for living a healthy and active lifestyle in the pursuit of lifelong wellness. Therefore, he follows a holistic treatment approach that is client-centered and evidence-based in order to optimize health and function. He delivers this through a combination of personalized, easy-to-understand education, hands-on therapy, therapeutic modalities, and movement.
Outside the clinic, Jez enjoys spending time on scholarly pursuits, exercising, and sharing a delicious meal with his loved ones.
