DR. CALVIN WONG
Dr. Calvin Wong holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from Queen’s University. He then graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Wong then completed a Master of Science degree in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences (Biomechanics and Neurophysiology) from the University of Guelph. He then completed the Sports Sciences Residency Program through the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) and later completed and obtained his Fellowship as a Chiropractic Sports Specialist. Dr. Wong is also certified as an Emergency First Responder, Clinical Acupuncture and Functional Range Release® Provider.
Dr. Wong believes in a collaborative approach to patient care and completed his residency training under various Orthopedic Surgeons, Sports Medicine Physicians and Sports Specialist Chiropractors. In addition, he has advanced training in different clinical settings, from the office, to the fracture clinic and operating room, to travelling with various sport teams for sideline emergency field coverage.
Dr. Wong has worked at a variety of provincial and local events and for the past years, he has served as the team doctor for the Milton Icehawks Junior A Hockey team. Dr. Wong has worked with various athletes at the recreational, provincial, national, professional, CIS and NCAA levels.
