ABDULLAH QADERI
Abdullah is a graduate from the Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, he completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at York University. Abdullah decided to pursue a career in physiotherapy after injuring himself a few times in University and learning how important maintaining your body in optimal condition is. He has many years of personal training experience with clients of all ages and abilities, and his knowledge combined with a desire to help others is what drives him to continue learning. Abdullah is committed to continuing to expand his skill set through post-graduate courses in order to best help his clients. Currently, he is certified in acupuncture, soft tissue release, and is working towards certification in dry needling and an advanced manual therapy certification from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Abdullah strongly believes in patient education as an essential tool in empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation. He emphasizes a measures approach to recovery which incorporates lots of hands on manual therapy techniques, and when appropriate therapeutic exercise progressions to challenge the body to reach its optimal state. His goal is not solely treating a patients’ symptoms, but rather find the root cause of these symptoms in order to best treat the patient and to ensure they are well equipped to minimize their symptoms from coming back in the future.
Outside of work Abdullah enjoys playing basketball, weightlifting, traveling, and cooking. He is a fan of the Toronto Raptors and Liverpool FC.
