Leg Injury

Chiropractors are primary healthcare professionals who focus on the diagnosis and management of the musculoskeletal system of the entire body.

While all chiropractors receive some instruction in the management of sports injuries, a Sports Specialist Chiropractor undergoes substantially more training and clinical application through a post graduate residency program and Fellowship Examination. The Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) is the national governing organization for sports chiropractic in Canada. There are only approximately 100 Sports Specialist Chiropractors practicing across Canada.

Sports Chiropractic visits at Pro Form Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation include a comprehensive 60 minute initial visit and 20-30 minute subsequent visits that are one on one with your chiropractor. Each treatment is patient specific and may include education, rehabilitative exercise, soft tissue and manual therapy techniques, physical therapy modalities, athletic taping and acupuncture.
